Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 5 October 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses listing.ng, operated by Bolrach Technologies Limited.
1. The spirit of it
listing.ng is for buying and selling real things between real people, honestly. Sellers describe what they sell as it is, both sides deal fairly, and everyone meets where it is safe. Everything below follows from that.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Posting an item the seller does not have, or one that is not as the ad describes it.
- Selling anything on the prohibited list, including weapons, drugs and prescription-only medicines, counterfeit or stolen goods, forged documents and protected wildlife.
- Posting job adverts of any kind; jobs belong on findwork.ng.
- Running a scam, such as asking for a "delivery", "clearing" or "inspection" fee before a meeting, or faking a payment alert.
- Pretending to be listing.ng, Bolrach Pay or Safe Buy in a message.
- Harassment, threats or hate directed at anyone.
- Collecting sellers’ numbers or other people’s details in bulk, or messaging people who did not ask for it.
3. Content standards
- Do not post unlawful content, or content that infringes copyright, trademarks or privacy.
- Do not post anyone’s personal details, documents or photos without their consent.
- Do not post sexual content of any kind, and never content involving minors.
- Only post photos taken by the seller or used with the right to do so, and no phone numbers or links inside an ad.
4. Platform and security
- Do not attempt to break, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to listing.ng or its systems.
- Do not upload malware, or probe or scan our infrastructure without permission.
- Do not bypass or interfere with security, rate limits, or access controls.
5. Enforcement
If content or behaviour breaks this policy, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts, depending on the severity and history. We aim to be fair and proportionate, and we may act immediately where there is risk of harm.
6. Reporting a problem
Seen something that breaks these rules? Report it in the product where available, or tell us through the Help centre. For privacy or copyright concerns, see our Privacy Policy or contact us.
